Mobile Great flight prices for Oct 2020 BA/Miami

Just wanted to share our good find today. Going away October 15/29th 2020, return flights with BA released today.
We’ve been on flight watch for a while now, Virgin holidays mega expensive for both Orlando and Miami.
Tui into Sandford on the 18th late £800’s when adding luggage, seats etc, no car.
British Airways cheaper than virgin for Orlando but still £1000+pp today when released (I know they will probably come down but we’re a party of 8 and need to book seats together in advance)
So I thought I’d take a look at Miami, we flew this route in 2010 and although the drive isn’t desirable it’s not that bad and we’re pretty well seasoned to long travel days now!
I can not believe the prices we’ve got! The return flight was only just over £100pp!
We’ve paid £455pp direct return which includes 1 x Chrysler 7 seater and 1 x large Ford Escape, both with fully inclusive insurance and extra Avios.
We’re well pleased with this price, until today we have had quotes well over £10k for all of us with 2 cars, today has cost £3641!
Totally worth the saving in my opinion, I understand if you want to use magical express but we always stop in a villa.

We have been keeping an eye on these flights as want 17-30/31st. The half term weekend prices are sky high though. 17th started off at £240 (one way) but is now £550 ish and the return flight is £400. Works out at £3600 for 2 adults and 2 teens! I will be waiting for the sales at that price.

I was looking at outwards to Miami 2/10/20, back from Orlando 24/10/20, being quoted £708 pp. Well done on snagging that price.

If you see a good price grab it asap. It was like that for Easter flights with BA into Miami - we got ours on release, and they'd more than doubled just a few days later and are still more than double 7 months later.

Very good for premium for us LHR-MIA or NCL-MIA...

There is some resistance to Miami due to the drive.
