You beat me to it

Been watching these flights for past few days - was hoping to come back on the Friday or Saturday (30th or 31st) but price jumps up significantly so took the plunge today and booked 14th Oct to 29th Oct

Cost was £1190 for 2a and 1c (12) plus £400 to pre book extra leg room seats (need to as DH is 6ft 5 and not a great flyer) - luggage included as added Airport Hotel night before

Took the plunge today as prices had already increased by about £100 - guessing more people have discovered the price

I'm more than happy with the cost and its lowest we've paid for years

The BA prices for the dates I’m looking at flying out finally seem plausible. We’re looking at 17/18 and possibly 19th October. The full return price s now around £2,200 for 2A 1C. It was £2700 when first released and actually went up. Return flights are still showing the same (high) price every day which I think is a sure sign they haven’t properly priced them or released cheaper fares. If they drop in the next few days to a similar mount that would end up about £1900 (inc baggage) and I’d probably book at that price even though I still think it’s a bit high.

£1800 is my target price for “Economy heavy” I’d with bags and awful food! At the moment my indirect searches are coming back at around £1600 but I don’t think that is enough of a saving to justify the hassle and the risk you could lose a day of holiday
