Disneyland to reopen 1st april

Excellent news although significant reduction in capacity starting at 15 percent and only local visitors.

It’s a start 👍 I still think we’ll need to reschedule our August trip, but I’m happy to leave it for a bit and see how things play out.

I noticed that the USA vaccinated more people yesterday than France has managed in total so far.

The LA numbers are dropping fast, vaccine roll out is going well so I am very encouraged that Disney will be full capacity by the summer.

Caveat - I am always an optimist!

I still have my 3-day ticket purchased last year in case we can go in October and have to select specific parks per day.

Good article explaining the opening details here. Only initially for California residents which was to be expected.

It will be interesting to see when other Americans can visit cross state.

Also to add that Disneyland restaurants will only open with outdoor dining to start with despite indoor dining being allowed in the state.
