Aww that’s such a shame about Citrico’s! That’s the 2nd time I’ve heard that some of the food came out not hot enough, I believe MrTomMorrow said something similar recently? (Correct me if I’m wrong and have made that up MrMorrow 🤔 )

Dr J. I pay heed to the fact this is your food report and not mine. Hence I will moderate what I say about Citricos

Cold soup - same as my Wife had. But, your pork looks excellent and as Halibut is not on the menu I would have opted for your choice as well.

The risotto. Mmm, overpriced stew by the look of it. Sorry if this offends but it's never worth over $60 when comparing to the price of a full lobster in Narcoossee's.

New Manager and new Chef - A perfect storm for problems. One needs to remain to ensure continuity.

I get annoyed by the little things. I would be at reception first thing asking for the difference in the cocktails you bought and the prices Citricos are showing on the WDW website menus. A pathetic victory but one I would have to win.

We are giving this place a bit of a break and heading back to Jiko's or Narcoossee's in May.

I had to stop by the desk last anyway to correct a rogue parking charge so had a chat with a manager about all the points I raised in the review and he offered to adjust my account. I accepted this so we have a resolution for now but I pressed him to do his best to correct things - particularly the whippy butter

We nipped in to OKW after the Springs, haven’t been to Olivia’s for a while so thought we might grab lunch.

Cheeseburger with onion rings

This looks very plainly presented but that’s cos DW asked for it like this. It was very tasty and the onion rings really nice.

I had the blackened fish (mahi mahi ) BLT.

I enjoyed this, nice medium spice level, two mahi fillets perfectly cooked with no sign of any skin or bones

I plan on both Narcoossee and Citricos in my next trip, so your reviews are fab.

Especially as I have had such mediocre visits to Narcoossee in the past... I was hoping for better from Citricos having never been.
