I like the ivy in Cardiff, or Madeira (where the Louis used to be) on st Mary street. There some nice restaurants down the bay -i like Demiros or you have plenty of other restaurants down there. If you wanted a little further out I love the custom house in Penarth (you can walk across the barrage as it's right at the other end)

Right outside the castle theres loads of seating and you can order from the restaurants In that area. (Grazing shed I love their burgers, mowgli and Marco pierre white- all nice restaurants too- I mean grazing shed not really a restaurant)

Lots of choice to be had in Cardiff. Enjoy!

London we really liked Honest Burgers, they have one in Liverpool too.

Liverpool also has a San Carlo which we really enjoyed. As well as Brasco lounge which we also really like.

I can probably help with the Liverpool stay Kev. What type of food do you like? What’s your favourite?

Honest burgers is gluten free by the way, probably should have said. Most of the menu is gluten free. I only listed places that I know do gluten free as I remember you saying you can’t eat gluten, like myself.

Hickory’s and Queens Head both North Wales. Hickory’s very busy great atmosphere Queens Head full but definitely a calmer feel. Fab food in both.

I have been out but not into town. My daughter was at Miller and Carter (in Liverpool) on Saturday, she had a lovely meal and said that they were very well organised with regards C-19.
