My friend is 5 foot 11 and her husband probably about 5 foot 4, she's very well built too but they are so happy together it's rather sweet.

My best friend is 5ft 1in and her husband is 5ft, he doesn’t allow her to wear heels. Three of their children are 5ft and under, one male, two females all their boyfriends are taller than they are. One son is 5ft 5 so he is the tallest.
My other friends son has CF which has massively effected his growth, he is 20 now and 4ft10, his girlfriend is 5ft3 snd they have just moved in together 🥰

My MIL was 6ft, my FIL 5ft 7in, I said to my hubby, has you Dad shrunk as there does not look like a lot of difference in height on the wedding photos, he said look closely Mum is bending her knees to get down to the same height as Dad. She looked like a young Priscilla Presley, he looked like Fagin, but they were happy together and genuinely loved each other.

Growing up my best friends mum was taller than her dad, they were lovely people and I never thought it strange. I think there’s a celebrity trend like Jo Jonas and Sophie Turner, My son and his wife are bang on trend!

I'm short anyway so it's not something I've ever had to really think about as all of my partners have been taller than me, but I don't have a preference for height. The tall ones were useful for fetching things from the top shelf though.

I always used to be getting things from supermarkets shelves for people, back when I used to visit such dangerous places.
