Best (cheapest!) co for a fun car?

By fun, I mean convertible or similar (doesnt have to be mustang). I have only ever hired people carriers so I have no idea what a good price is for a sporty 2seater.
Is £175 for 5 days in November for a Camaro or Mustang or whatever they usually give you?

Your price would depend on where you
pick up drop off
and on the actual dates

Pick up MCO 1/11 for 5 days is coming up at £176
Pick up MCO 10/11 for 5 days is coming out at £220
This is Alamo brits

from 3rd November for 5 days (hand back Tuesday a.m.)... so is 176 a good price then? Can I justify the extra £74 over the cheapest compact/economy rental?

I would pay the extra £74 to go from a compact to a mustang convertible any day.
If that is from Alamo with all the insurance required ( Which it would have from Alamo ) then £176 is not a bad price for 5 days.

I paid £597 for 3 wk in september for a convertible but that was with Avis/BA

Which is about £142 for 5 days but prices have gone up

We had two Mustang bookings last year (one with Dollar, one with Budget). Dollar was the cheaper but Budget include spouse driving so it works out best now Mrs Rowlfie has decided she wants a turn too! Both cars were nearly new, in excellent condition with high specs.

We're actually picking up our next one on Saturday from Budget at Sanford. It cost us £435 with 8% cash-back for 14 days. Again Dollar would have been a bit cheaper at about £380.
