Shuttle bus or drive to Busch Gardens
In 2014 we drove to BG and can remember it being problematic. however, given it is a 75 mile trip each way i wonder if it will be less stressful and cheaper to get the shuttle this time
Any thoughts? Are the shuttle buses a pleasant ride? does it cut into park opening hours much? Staying at RI@PO - how do i find pickup points? Thanks |

On our first visit yo BG we used the bus, seem to think we got there about 11am, and the bus back was 6pm - so you get almost the whole day there. However, I passed out early in the day on the Serengeti Safari. I hadn't fainted before (or since) so I felt rubbish and I wished we brought the car. Obviously, it's fairly unlikely someone in your party will be unwell and want to head back early, but it could happen. The shuttle itself was just a regular coach, it was perfectly fine.
My brother wants to go this year and we will be driving, it offers more flexibility plus there's 5 of us, and petrol/parking will be about the same or maybe even cheaper than $10pp on the bus.

I always find the drive to Busch very easy and we stop for breakfast on the way. We used the bus once which was also easy. The thing I have against the bus is that even though the vast majority of passengers got back to the bus on time we had to wait nearly half an hour for one family who didn't seem to think that this mattered. Since then I drive.

The shuttle is free with your Busch Gardens ticket. You can get it at Seaworld, Universal, CSI The experience etc

I would always drive as that gives you flexibility. You never know what might happen
