Ah I misunderstood. I assumed the OP meant BA had quoted for transfers as one of their add ons.
I'm surprised any company gets away with calling themselves BA transfers when they are nothing to do with BA (and not contracted by BA) but hey !

National Express for me, used them last year with no major issues.

Doing the Heathrow/Gatwick transfer again next month and planning to use National Express again!

(With caveat that I used to take National Express a few times a year to/from Heathrow - most of the time they are fairly reliable, but there have been odd occasions where a breakdown or a jam has resulted in substantial delays...)

No that's correct, nothing to do with ba! I may have confused the issue as I booked flights with ba! Lol

Hope this helps
Thanks for that, that sounds great. How close to the holiday would be best to book? Thanks again

I booked DD & friend onto the national express bus, they have a 5 hr layover.
My concern was that a pre-booked taxi would increase in price if it was waiting for them. Plus the bus service is easily found/identified unlike a taxi, ( they are both 21 yrs old & a little dippy)

We are using National Express this year so good to hear majority of positive comments. Only cost £11 each for adults, less for kids so good price for 7 of us.
