7 seater and suitcases!
We have booked a 7 seater through Thomson with Alamo for next year, there will be 4 adults and 2 kids, 6 and 2.
it will be fine going out as not taking much, but coming back we will have 6 suitcases and 6 hand luggage and a pram, what should we do? we only want the 1 car as we are all going to the parks together so no point paying 2x parking every day. plus others haven't been before and not keen on doing much driving. but going back to the airport at the end of the holiday I don't think it will all fit as it says 3 suitcases and 2 small bags on the description anyone else had experience of this? any advice appreciated. thanks Annmarie |

We always have a 7 seater through Alamo either the Dodge or the Chrysler.
There was six of us last year 4ad, 14yo and 13, so 6 of us. We manage to get all our cases (6) in the rear no problem at all. They were not the largest cases but all full size, we all had hand luggage which we kept in the car. We shall have seven of us this year so we may have to put one case in the middle row of the car. You may have to consider this.. We don't want the extra cost of another car or parking charges. when we are there its on short journeys so no problem at all.. |

thanks for the advice, I feel a bit better about it now.
It will only be for the airport run back so hopefully we can squeeze it in |

OP. It will be fine. Those 7 seaters eat up the luggage superbly.

If it does not all fit in either 2 airport runs or a uber taxi
But I'm sure you can squeeze a few cases on people's laps |

If you get something like a Town & Country, some of the hand luggage can fit in the storage bins under the floor (where the middle row of seats disappear into when you fold them down - just look under the mats), but don't forget to empty them afterwards. The rest of the luggage should be no problem, except possibly the pram - it depends on how big it is.

Dodge Grand Caravan or Town and Country will be no problem. We've used them twice for 4A+2C with all luggage (and a pushchair one year) and didn't have to use the 7th seat for anything

Thats great, we have a town n country , think we have one of these a few years back and dont remember there being an issue.
We have 4 adults one 16 and one 13 year old. Journey with cases from the airport is only have half an hour drive if crammed. Would we fit 6 large cases in there with no problem in the boot x |

With the 7 seaters, the key to luggage space is storing one of thr centre seats in the floor.
This gives seats for 6 and a massive storage area in addition to the small boot for you luggage prams, etc luggage etc etc. |
