Budget are as good as the other hire companies, the cars are generally from same pool as Avis. Biggest problem is the queue. However some of their pricing can be a lot cheaper than others at times.
Good point - spouse is covered free, not considered additional driver. She does not even need to be there to show license, albeit even after waiting for luggage she'll be down well before your served. Bad point - no straight to garage for UK residents Like all hire companies check before signing, should be $0 unless taking tank of fuel, which is estimated. Andy's links and info is very useful It was mentioned in another post about leaving luggage to family, and going to car hire, if I do, do I have to fill in separate customs declaration.

That may be relative to whether you use the second bag drop. If so then one Customs Declaration will suffice as you can all pass thro Customs at the same time.

Aha, wasn't even thinking that's way as we always take luggage on the train.
Last few times had to wait a while for luggage off plane, and thought by leaving wife (not forever), they could collect luggage whilst I left immigration hall to collect car. Then all meet up in car park.
