Our first trip was in June 1990 when our daughters were 16 and 12. They are now both mothers of teenage children

We had a week at Fantasy World followed by a week in a condo at Indian Shores.

Our car was a Buick Skylark and it had a strange seatbelt contraption - it was fixed semi-rigidly to the door and closed on you when you shut the door.

November !992 was our first family holiday there, too. Days Inn Lakeside. We woke up to find Clinton had been elected President. I remember going over to one of the Parks on a monorail and the driver saying to look below they were just breaking ground on the first Value Resorts. That was the beginning of the end for Kissimmee which was the go to area at the time.

We went again the following June and they introduced a five day park hopper and you had to have your photo printed on the ticket, everything was done right there at the booth. I wish I'd kept them.

The nineties were fabulous at Disney ...

Our eldest had just finished her GCSEs and youngest had just heard that she'd passed her 11+. Rugby had selection then and still does.

We first went in 1988 or 1989 and the pictures brought back some memories so thank you. In the words of an Irish lady 'those were the days my friend we thought they'd never end.'

You've inspired me to dig out my pics from the 25th anniversary in '96! When they made the castle into a cake and a few people called blasphemy

Love these old photos! Although we wouldn't visit WDW until 5 years later.
