Mobile Which places DON'T you need an ADR for?

We're pretty happy with our booked ADRs now (BOG, Sci-fi,Tuskers, T-Rex, Garden Grill) and plan to do the rest of our meals either outside the parks or from snack carts. But I'm wondering which if any of the QS and TS places are you able to walk-up to? I know you can theoretically try this anywhere but at places like 'Ohana (the one ADR I haven't got yet!) I've heard you're unlikely to succeed. Are any places relatively easy to attend on a whim?

You can't book any QS except BoG so they are all walk ups. We've only ever tried it at Olivia's in OKW as we've stayed a few times and Olivia's is rarely busy. I've also booked a last minute lunch ADR in MK one morning and got loads to choose from. If you plan on trying a walk up at a TS I'd be more likely to check the app for availability before you do then just book.

No other QS places allow reservations, so that gives you loads of options. If you fancy a TS meal and you are close by it's worth popping in a place. If your not close, probably worth checking the app for availability first.

The only QS you need an adr for is BOG. You don't' need an adr for T-Rex or Rainforest Café if you have a Landry card.

For others I would always suggest an adr but some will be available on the day. Not sure any restaurants really do walk ups any more. There are always some available on the day have a look now for tonight/dinner: 1900 Park Fare, 50s Prime Time, Artist Point, Biergarden, Boma, California Grill, Cape May, Captain's Grille, Chief Mickeys, Chef de France, Citricos, coral reef, flying fish, House of Blues, Hollywood & Vine, Skipper Canteen, Kona Café, La Hacienda de San Angel, Liberty tree tavern, mama Melrose, Monsieur Paul, narcoossee's, nine dragons, ragland road, Sanaa, sci-fi dine-in, teppan edo...

Oh great! I think BOG needing reservations had got me confused, good to know there's lots of options. Will keep checking for Ohana but otherwise chill out!

have you tried touring plans? you can get a reservation check on Ohana - it will email you when the one you want is available - although it might be 3am and gone by the time you wake up.

There is a free account that can access the dining finder. I don't know if I can link it, but search for basic access and you should find it.

There are some fairly big restaurants which aren't as popular so are pretty much always available as walk ups. I wouldn't actually walk up though, I would do a last minute ADR on your phone to guarantee your table. We always find Kona, Tony's and the less popular World Showcase restaurants like Nine Dragons have availability.

You can generally get last minute ADRs for Splitsville (Disney springs), Turf Club (SSR) and Captains Grille (yacht club) all of which are hidden gems in my book. Lesser known Resort restaurants are a better bet than park ones generally
