I can't be the only one that laughs out loud at some of the replies surely.

Not out loud, but I have the odd internal chuckle.

The passive aggressive replies must have gone straight over my head (nothing new - happens a lot) as I didn't notice them .

Think the passive aggressive remark was a dig at me saying I wouldn't go all the way to Best Buy for a hairdryer. I wasn't being passive agressive by the way I was just thinking "darn I wouldn't drive 30 minutes for a cheap hairdryer when all the other places suggested were five minutes away". But some people read the wrong thing into the typed word.

The poster made no mention of where they were staying .
I read the posts and I am entitled to my opinion they were passive aggressive and trying to prove a point.
Next time I will avoid passive aggressive posts and not get drawn in.

So it was a dig at me. Do tell just what point I was trying to make. Yes, I made a mistake in assuming that the OP would be staying on property or in the IDrive area.

I can't understand how someone asking if they sell hairdryers at Publix ends up in debate about passive aggressiveness.

Maybe every post should come with a disclaimer.

OP, I would say Wal Mart would be your best best if you want to buy over here.

I bought my hairdryer in Walmart. I think it was on the 192 near Medieval Times.

OP the Super Target at Rolling Oaks which is across the road from your nearest Publix sells a selection of hairdryers at great prices. I picked one up there on our last trip plus the added bonus is there is a Dollar Tree in the same complex for great value kitchen and bathroom supplies as well as all the other "bargains" that you just have to have

A lot of stuff is dual voltage these days so look for a label that says something similar to 100-240v on the label (rather than 100-120v or 200-240v) and it will work equally well both here and in the US .
Ohh thank you that's great!
