When did your little ones start getting excited for Disney?

Our DS is 4, and he's just not into it at all, we've been to DLP twice with him, once when he was 18 months and next time just under 2, so obviously he won't remember, but he sees the adverts all the time, and when I ask him if he wants to go he just says he wants to go to Thomasland instead, and he doesn't want to see Mickey or Minnie but wants to see Thomas or Peppa Pig

He better damn well want to go to Disney and/or be into Disney stuff one day!

Our daughter is the opposite, shes 3 and we went to Disney World when she was 18 months, she pretends she remembers but I don't believe her haha.

But we have a chrome cast and I've set it up to play our Florida photos on the TV when not in use so she see's herself in Florida and with the characters daily so perhaps she does remember...

Since we told her we are going back next year she has done nothing but non stop talk about it haha! We have also started doing scrapbooks as a family so that we can write down and plan all the things we want to do in Florida to help keep the excitement going since it's 300+ days to go

haha it's crazy isn't it? We have friends who have twins that are just under a year younger than us and they got so excited with going to Disney a few months back, our DS just doesn't want to go lol.

He does say he can remember when we went when he was just under 2, and says he doesn't want to go back

He might not ever like Disney.
If he likes Thomas that’s maybe just what he prefers, not all kids like Disney 😏

No that's just wrong, he must have been swapped at birth considering his parents are both Disney nuts!

Btw it's only a bit of a joke topic in case anyone thinks I'm being serious, I wouldn't change him for the world whether he likes Disney or not!

Getting Excited

Our daughter aged 4 at the time was very underwhelmed when we told her we were going to Florida. We didn’t tell her until the morning we were going so she wouldn’t get over excited!
We went to Greece this year, the excitement when we told her is what I wanted for Florida.
She does keep asking when we are going back, maybe this time I’ll actually tell her when we book.

Perhaps more subliminal messages, start serving up his food in the shape of hidden mickeys Peas for one ear, potatoes for the other and chicken nuggets for the face
