Has anyone been here recently? I haven't been for about 20 years. All the reviews I'm reading on various sites point to issues with hygiene in most of the parks (lodges and caravans).

Any recommendations please?

Hi been the last 4 or 5 years stayed in whitecliff bay in a luxury lodge or there new tribeca or rockstar caravans which are amazing the club house isn’t very good but we are not bothered about that usually go out for a meal etc. Also the chequers pub and b&b is amazing just been refurbished the food is amazing and had a friend that has just stayed there and said the rooms are fantastic.

Thank you, we aren't bothered about the clubhouse either. I'll have look.

It’s very nice well kept grounds etc we avoid the chalets or cheaper caravans just to be on the safe side and on there website awayresorts they give you discounted ferry crossings as well.

You could try Ariaresorts at Colwell Bay they are all new and a lovely location in the West of the Island. The Wight Mouse also has good accomodation ( and good food ) with stunning views over the coast line to the needles. I am probably biased as we live in the West Wight but it is a beautiful Island with so much going on.

I love it there so you are very lucky.

I looked at Aria resorts but there was a lot of moaning about building work and the site being unfinished. I will check out Wight Mouse. It doesn't help I'm looking to go in the next few week haha. Thanks
