Anyone who has done MAN to MCO via DUB?

Hi all

Apologies of this has been asked before but we have recently booked flights on the above route and I was just wondering is it possible to buy duty free alcohol before USA pre clearance(or after) at DUB and take it on the flight? (P.s . I am not drinking it on the flight of course it's for personal use when we get there)! We will not have a car and I would like a few evening tipples (we are sharing a room at POR with our 3 kids so will need it)! Haha

Have had a look and cannot seem to get a definitive answer?

We always buy a couple of litres of spirits at Dublin after security - they usually have good offers on. The bottles are well wrapped and sealed in bag and we then take them through pre clearance- we do say we have them when interviewed. They are also for sale after pre clearance but obviously because only a fairly small shop not very much choice.
