I hope your hypothetical plans come to fruition! But also, that Evie actually wants to go, you're right its unthinkable to go without her. Hopefully, with time, she will remember the good parts and the bits she didn't enjoy will fade away.

Thanks for sharing this with us. Its been great reading.

I hope so too The House is getting there but still a way off yet

Evie may well let you know why she doesnt want to go back and may even change her mind, perhaps you could look at west coast for a disney/universal fix with a bit of a road trip? I am sure you will feel more settled once you are back in your home. We came back from our trip and have loads to do on house so our trip will be a while away yet, probably 2021.
Thank you. I have looked at the West Coast but not not sure it would be for us. I do hold an ambition to go to Disneyland one day though

I expected it to be too hot and pretty unbearable but we actually surprised ourselves and it wasn’t that bad. We probably did a lot more Aircon breaks-find a shop to freeze in for a few minutes! We actually found it to be less busy too, I remember remarking that we hadn’t seen a single group of brightly coloured t-shirts! Our eldest has started secondary school so I’m more reluctant to steal time away from school so next year we have opted to try the end of July/August and booked Disney... rewind 2 weeks ago when I found a great deal out of Manchester. We are off to Universal at the same time of year so at least I can prepare myself properly to see if the end of July works for us, I’ll let you know how a summer holiday feels when I return so you can tell Kelly!
Thank you. I do hear that August is getting better in terms of crowds as the rest of the year seems to be getting busier. We’d love to fo a MNSSHP as well which if we go August we could do.

Glad you all had a good time overall
Thanks for reading. I saw you had a report as well and I’ll get round to reading and commenting on that soon

We are going for first time mid August this year so a new experience for us, fingers crossed! Hope to be reading a pre trip sometime in 2020 😉👍
Thank you. I think by the end of the summer we’ll be all sorted and settled. I’ll keep saving and start dropping hints about going soon enough

I hope that you're all back home soon, and that given time Evie wants to go again. Its always good to have those hypothetical plans and savings in place just in case! Good luck.
Thank you I’d already been secretly planning 2021 before we did this one

Thanks for sharing, some great food but you’re always going to get the odd duff one.

Fingers crossed your house is ready soon, so frustrating for you to come back and find it’s so far behind. Thank goodness you can stay with the in-laws.

Hopefully Evie will come round in time. It’s probably a bit soon for her to think about going back just yet, especially with the house issues. DS was adamant after our trip in 2016 when he was 9 that he didn’t want to go back cos he hated the flights. We’re now booked for 2020, he will be 14 and he’s really looking forward to it. I have had to promise him a bed on at least the flight back though

Keep on with the hypothetical plans

What a great summary I have really enjoyed following your trip, and love your honesty when things go a bit wrong.

I hope you do get back soon and Kelly realises BA aren’t that bad we have changed to them or TC as Virgin prices are ridiculous to us it is a means to an end!

Thanks for taking the time to do your trippie

Thank you for your trip report. Those 3 weeks went quickly.

I hope you get to go again in 2021. August isn’t so bad especially if you go towards the end of the month. The weather is always a mixed bag anyway.

Thank you for reading. I’m not even going to mention anything to her for six months and she then but I’m hopeful she will be good to go

Thank you for sharing your trip with us once again, really interesting to read your final thoughts. We are onsite people too and I always get a thrill when someone else agrees with me.

I am sure Evie will come around in the end. I think she is so brave and it's inspirational how she gets up every day and gets on with life when many adults in her position would be doing quite the opposite.

Thank you for all your comments We just really love onsite and if we go we will really try to go for longer even if it means sacrificing other things we like

I’m hoping Evie will come round. We will just have to wait and see. I watched Tim Trackers report on Galaxies Edge this morning and I’m more determined to go
