Has anyone got a good deal with Vodafone recently?

Good Morning,
I’ve been with Vodafone for years and years and years. Up until last year DH was also with them but changed to 3 when his contract was up as the deal they offered was poor.

I’ve been on a Sim only contract for over 12 months as again there wasn’t a phone I wanted in a price I wanted to pay. When my sim contract was up I checked upgrades on my phone and I was offered 15gb of data for £20. Currently pay £20 for 20gb! Why on earth would I be offered that as an upgrade?

DS contract is now up and the best upgrade deal is £41 for an iPhone 6s. He already has a 6s and we pay £25! Unlikely I’ll be taking them up on that offer either!

So Dibbers... have Vodafone given you any great deals recently?

I’m going to ring them and see what the best offer they can do for myself and DS but I’m fully prepared to switch to better deals with other companies.

I changed over to Red Entertainment with them, sim only. it is unlimited UK minutes, 20gb of data and Amazon Prime included free for a year. It also includes my phone calls in USA for £24 a month.

Do you and your DS need a new phone?

I'd recommend 3 all day long.. sim only £24/m for 100GB data, unlimited texts/mins and roaming in 71 countries

When I contacted them to cancel they knocked only a small amount off the new monthly charge I'd been quoted but waived the £179 new handset charge

I asked to be put through to disconnections. Got unlimited calls & texts and 20gb on a SIM only Red Entertainment plan for £20 per month. (Claimed one years free Now TV entertainment pass).

Thanks everyone. I could do with a new one as it’s become a bit unreliable. DS doesn’t ‘need’ one. It’s just his contract is up so wondered what deals we’d get and when I looked into it, they seem pretty rubbish. I was actually thinking of me sticking with my sim only and having his 6s phone if he was to get a new one.

I might ring and see what they offer. 👍🏻

100gb data! Wow! I barely use 10gb of the 20gb I have. 😂

I have 10gb data and unlimited calls /texts and pay £13:month.

I called to cancel as I was going to move to giffgaff and I was offered that.

I use my data a lot and rarely go over 10gb.

I only have 1GB of data on mine and I have never gone over. I'm obviously not as techie as I thought

If you are on Vodafone Red, can you use your data in the US?

Not sure if I’m on Vodafone Red.. I’ll have to check that out though as that would come in handy next year. Thanks.
