Mobile Travel insurance recommendations

Does anybody have any recommendations for travel insurance,
We fly on the 14th of August with British airways as a family of six.
Couple of things in mind, obviously the BA strike if it goes ahead, ticket cover and even poor whether/hurricane cover.
Any recommendations?

I tend to look at the moneysavingexpert current recommendations depending on whether I am doing a package or DIY.

With regard the BA strike, I am not an insurance specialist but I would be surprised if this would be covered in any event as it has been announced.

Ticket cover is a challenging one, many insurances don't cover tickets, if you need this then check the T&C's very carefully as the terms on which it covers the tickets will vary. ( In past we had to cancel and tickets weren't covered as we had not travelled. If we had gone and not used the tickets they would've been covered: if we had gone and they had been used ( but only partially) then we might have been entitled to a refund if we could substantiate it made a material difference to our holiday.

Weather per se is not normally covered but I have paid in the past an extra premium to cover natural disasters which did cover hurricanes. But they did say afterwards that I was travelling in peak hurricane season so it could've been considered an expected event.

If there is anything I particularly want to know I tend to do we chat with the insurance company and get the answers to my specific questions in writing.

If you pay by credit card for flights etc that are over £100 you should be covered by section 75, have a look on MSE.
