Has anyone got nightmare hair like me?

Am so sick of it-think it's getting worse as I get older?

It's very very fine, fly away, frizzy and wavy but I have lots of it so it goes like a bush once it's dry.

I grew it for the wedding-it's almost at waist length now so I think it's time for a shorter cut.
Had a fringe cut in April-big mistake it sticks out at right angles due to the wavyness.
But I've just spent hours looking up possible hairstyles for my hair but either it just wouldn't work or I'd have to spend ages faffing with it.
I should just got bald...

**This is not me-but this is exactly how my hair is, mines just longer**

I completely understand. I’m in my 60’s and I’ve struggled with the same problem all my life. I’ve tried just about everything over the years. I have to wash and blow dry every day or when I get up in a morning it’s sticking out in every direction. I’ve always longed for straight hair. I use L’Oreal oil now on the ends when it’s wet - helps a bit for a while.

The only thing what works with mine is reverse washing conditioner first then a small amount of shampoo it just make mine manageable for at least 3 days. I keep thinking of cutting it shorter but the last time I did this it was way to curly I could not manage to keep it tidy, I just have really fine curly hair which is near my waist love it when I first wash it but after 3 days have to wear it up. Find washing it every other day makes it worst.

I use WOW colour humidity spray , works a treat here and in the USA.

I have long hair that tends to frizz if I don't use a product, blow dry then straighten.
Its so much easier with WOW, its not the cheapest but an applications lasts 3 washes for me.
May be worth having a look?

I tend to buy it when M&S have their 20% off beauty products.

Mines curly but thick and I have it in a bob, dds it thick and wavy and it’s long she puts in mousse and scrunches it. When it’s dry she looks like hagrid, maybe a layered bob or you could ask the hairdresser!

I’ll swap you! My hair is thin and nasty - it falls out yet I don’t colour or use heat. At least your hair looks full and attractive. You just need to find the right products, that’s all

Will it not tame with serum on it? I only ever get a slight frizz in Florida heat but I find an after washing , pre-blow drying, apply a little serum, it really works 😊

Would you have a keratin blow dry? I was going to have it done this trip but haven’t had time to get to the hairdressers before we fly. My friend had it done 7 weeks ago and it’s still Moreno Orleans frizz free. If I blow dry my hair I use a argon oil by L’Oreal or if I have it down and went I put a leave in conditioner in it and plait it.

We have similar hair.

When you've washed it, try not to rub it dry, just wrap in a towel.

Then, as Libby said, try John Frieda 'Frizz Ease' serum and curl activating mouse and scrunch it through. Leave to dry naturally, scrunch again and you should be left with lovely, tamed, defined curls.

I straighten my hair here but get lots of compliments when I wear it curly.

I usually get around 3 days curly. In the morning I just wet my hand and scrunch again to tame the bed head frizz
