Christmas with Mickey- Pre-trip report
Well, our holiday is nearly here so i thought i'd write a little pre-trip report. This will be our 3rd Christmas at Disney and 4th visit, but probably also the last (well for a very long time anyway) due to other commitments i have.
Anyway let me start the introductions... Me- Emily... 25 (26 on the 14th Dec) Love Disney, especially magic kingdom but can't sit still for longer than 20 mins. Loves shopping! DM- Dale...50... Loves the magic of Disney and 'how they do everything'. But this time wants to spend more time at the resort because 'it's costing a fortune'. Anyway, we will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge again this year as it is lovely and Christmassy. But... after some discussion and persuasion we've booked concierge... which i'm very excited about It's been really helpful being club level as they have booked all our reservations for us! As this will probably be the last trip...we've also added a few extras in... so here is the plan! 19th- I work in a school so leave around 4 and make our way to Manchester staying at the Radisson SAS. 20th- Flight 10:25 with Virgin, land mid afternoon...magical express to the hotel and reservations at Whispering Canyon. 21st- A.M Magic Kingdom, maybe shopping in the evening. 22nd- Keys to the Kingdom tour and reservations at liberty tree tavern. 23rd- A.M Animal Kingdom/ P.M Hollywood Studios 24th- A.M Hollywood Studios/ P.M Candelight Processional with Dinner at Le Cellier. 25th- Rest Day...Sleigh ride early evening then Dinner at California Grill overlooking wishes 26th- Shopping, maybe the boardwalk in the evening 27th- Crystal palace Buffet breakfast and Magic Kingdom 28th- Animal Kingdom then Dinner at the Rainforest Cafe 29th- Hollywood studios 30th- Whispering Canyon Breakfast...rest day... Park Fayre in the evening. 31st- Rest morning/ Epcot and reservations in the evening. 1st- Chef mickeys for breakfast Free choice 2nd- Home Day So that's the plan, we've always found getting to park early and leaving lunch time ish the best plan of action... but we don't stick to the plan always and obviously change a few things around. |
