No ranch holiday booked!

Rang Member Services last night to bank our add-on that we have just bought. She said "do you just want to bank those points and not the others?" "Huh? What others?" exclaims me. "I thought we had booked a week at the ranch". "I've nothing here" she says. Bummer, especially as I've paid for and got the flights to Phoenix.

So we have had to start all over again. We make our request, MS ask the ranch, then get in touch with us. The downside is that this usually takes about three working days - in this case, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Fine - except we are leaving the country on Wednesday morning! So, we arranged that I would ring them late on Tuesday night (UK time). Phew, just another thing to add to the list!

The upside (provided we can make the booking) is that we can now "arrange" which points we are going to bank and borrow and this will make the booking of our December 2003 trip easier, hopefully.

Sorry if I gave you guys a fright - it's Canada and Alaska on Wednesday and the ranch next March. So there is time to hopefully sort it out. I just hope the rooms are available otherwise I'll have two BA flights to Phoenix to get rid of somehow! ,
