Our villa owner have left our original dates in June free for us but also allowed us to rebook future weeks should June be cancelled. Very happy with that

little update from me - we are now rebooked to October 2021 - huge weight lifted - hopefully it will be all good by then x

We are also not taking any more outstanding balances. Those who have paid in full I have provided them with letters for their insurance companies. Those that have become due or will become due up to October stays I have told them we will see what the situation is 4 weeks before due (usually 12 weeks)

May I just leap in with a query?

We had a villa booked for last month.
Got £200 cleaning deposit refunded.
Owner clearly stated cancellations within timeframe no refunds given.

(I would have very happily still gone if planes were flying and Just stayed indoors at the villa-sadly not an option!)

The initial quote included:
‘Pool heat, hot tub heat and cleaning fee’

Would we be able to have those funds reimbursed?

Every owner I know has refunded pool heat etc. I personally don’t charge extra for cleaning but if I did that would be refunded as it wasn’t used. I guess it depends if the pool heat was quoted for separately. I refunded the pool heat for the days my guest didn’t use as their flight home was rescheduled.
