I'm going to positively assume this is just for the first phase so this information is really only aimed at domestic customers.
Only at a later phase when they find out when international travel is allowed will they announce how they will be handling international guests bookings. Im sure how to deal with the thousands of valid 14&21 day park hopper tickets is keeping some poor bloody sod at Disney HQ awake at night. Edited at 11:29 AM. |

Cancelling the dining plan and no ADRs is the final nail in the coffin for us I think with their being no fastpasses.
Does anyone know if keeping your ticket open with Virgin Atlantic affects your rights in terms of refunds/CC claims in the event that they go bust? Happy to take their deal, assuming they don't, as we'll use it before September 2022. |

Yes we are very similar to yourselves, 19 nights POR with tickets and QSDP then 4 nights Universal Endless Summer with tickets through ATD, flights booked through Aer Lingus, I was still hopeful for it to go ahead, could cope with no fireworks etc but I think this might be the final nail in the coffin for us, problem is if the flight goes ahead we get no refund on that
Have looked at changing flight to next year and although they have waived their amendment fees they want stupid money on top of what we have already paid for next year, we are limited to times we can next year due to DD doing GCSE

Agree with this. We're going nowhere until flights are running again so I think we'll have to just keep waiting unfortunately.

Excited about Disney
|
On with Disney now
Emails are being sent later today to confirm what is going on. No amendments for the rest of the year 31st August cancel without any charge Advising to wait a bit longer for us. We are meant to be going in September No making bookings for the rest of the year. They don't know anything until the email comes out. Out of pocket paid back like Hoop de revue Basically, unless you 100% canceling wait until the email arrives with all the information. |
