August 2021 Planning - Will we get there?

If you are keeping an eye on the news then you have probably seen the speculation from MPs that removal of lockdown restrictions maybe delayed now until August.

Yes speculation from MPs, but you know what that really means. Its being purposely put out there so we arent surprised when its actually announced.

I've booked some ADR's... why not. We still have weeks until we have to cancel/reschedule so we've made some bookings. Olivier's at OKW for breakfast, 50's Prime Time for dinner and Cape May Cafe for dinner too. Who knows if we'll get to use them but the fingers are still firmly crossed.

I have no idea what todays announcement will bring but hope there will be some good news for the travel industry. Not sure if I'm deluding myself but we are trying to stay positive for the August trip. Can't believe our counter is so low and we have made so few plans!

We are now looking at Christmas and might book some flights for next Easter if we see anything at a good price. More than anything, this year has made us all the more determined to get to WDW for some much needed Disney magic as soon as flippin possible.

I guess now we are looking very much at the 19th July for an announcement. We need to keep an eye on flight bookings for the days after that, and any sniff of airlines coming back to work.
