Have to admire his relentless optimism though.

He's just retweeted another rumour saying there could be announcements in the next few days, for end of July.

We all know that an announcement won't change anything that day, but will be a target date for the future. That's how it will happen, but i'm not sure there'll be anything announced super imminently.

We are 5th and showing no direct flights on that day with ba
(Were flying Heathrow-Orlando) so doesn’t look good for our flight

BA direct flights now cancelled for another week, was up to 2nd Aug, now up to 9th.

I just chatted to BA on live chat to see if there is any possibility of my LGW-MCO on 26th aug being changed to heathrow.. she said 'its possible, look out for emails'..

Same, if we knew if the borders were going to open,I would change to and fly to Miami. Or I'll just give up August and try October

It’s so frustrating isn’t it.
I’ve booked my second vaccine for the 7th august (thought I better book it incase we don’t go then at least I’ve got the option to maybe get away later in august) so I could potentially push the trip back a bit. Maybe just do Disney instead of doing universal and seaworld too.
I work in a school so stuck to school hols so if we don’t go this year it will be a whole year to push it back sadly.

Can't believe this. I was so positive today that the flights hadn't been removed. We're 10th August so may get another week to wait it out... again.
