Can we use the C19 test to enter France via Eurostar?

Hi everyone just wondering if we can use the C19 Covid test for a 12 year old on the Eurostar? Has anyone used it and it been accepted? I understand antigen is accepted but C19 is self-administered. Thanks

I know people who have used living care and that works the same with photo upload. By self administered they just mean you can’t use NHS tests as you need a certificate to travel. I’m planning on using them next year.

Following this as I have a similar issue with DS (14) in a couple of weeks.

One of my concerns with C19 etc is the time taken to get the results as the tests have to be taken within 24 hours. For peace of mind I'm considering booking a face to face test at St Pancras and then using C19 tests to cover the health pass and our return journey.

How long do they usually take to get back? I’m hoping by next year we get a bit longer than 24 hours. Or no testing at all 😂

I think some can take up to 12 hours to get the certificate whereas the in-person test at St Pancras comes through in around 15 minutes.

We used C19 for our trip to France over the summer. Very quick had the results in a couple of hours - even when doing the return tests on a Sunday evening.
