Help please passport and esta

I washed my husbands passport (longstory)
We ho in 8 weeks and I know we have enough time to renew passport but my question is
I believe new passport means new esta

We have a group esta for us adults and kids
Do we all have to reapply or just my husband

Many many thanks to anyone who may know the answer

Only his Esta, you all have individual Estas although you applied as a group as it is linked to your passport.

Group ESTA is purely for payment so you only make one payment rather than say 6, each ESTA is individual. You'll just need to make one application for your husband.

As ESTAs are individual and unique to a person you will only need to get the one for the replacement passport. The others do not need redoing.

The question is how badly damaged is the passport? Has the bio page been damaged. I have seen a fair few damaged passports that have been accepted for travel although not to the US.

8 weeks plenty of time! If you want to pay a little extra and you are close of a Passport office just got for the same day service.

Regarding ESTAs, yes you may have all applied as group, but ESTAs are attached to an individual passport, so only your Husbands ESTA would need amending / re-doing.

In regards to the damage the water is extensive on the picture

Hubby away to get a passport photo this afternoon on lunch break and his boss will verify him and he will do it online today

What a panic honestly, it's been a week of issues so thanks for putting my mind at ease x
