Ordering a Christmas Turkey

Had an email to say the Christmas bird 🦃 can be ordered in just over 3 weeks time. I’m sure it’s gets earlier every year!

We always get an absolutely delicious Kelly Bronze from a nearby farm. On the 23rd December collection, the bird is presented to the customer with a complimentary small glass of mulled wine 🍷

This year will be no different.

We have Christmas dinner at my mums and she insists that I order the turkey as soon as M&S Christmas orders start. From memory it’s November 🤔 but it could be October 😬

I’ve already ordered mine but that’s because our friend breeds organic Turkey /Pigs and Lamb
They are only doing very few large birds this year as loads of folk who ordered smaller turkeys last year have placed orders already for small birds

We will order when our butcher opens his order book for Christmas. From memory it was September last year.

Ive had emails from two different restaurants about booking for Christmas already. Much earlier than usual Im sure. Have always been late September?

We still have last years Christmas turkey in the freezer as DD and DSIL couldn’t come to us. The date on it is until May 2022 so may have it this year

The Costco ones are very good and we order every year when here.
