Late Christmas Lunch

DS and his girlfriend came round on Sunday for our first meal together since November.
He asked if we could have Christmas dinner as we had to cancel our family Christmas lunch because we were in tier 4 at the time.

We had a lovely meal, complete with pigs in blankets. I found some Chtistmas napkins and DH got the crackers out of the loft.

I really enjoyed it (and the hugs from DS)!

We’re doing the same on Sunday! Mum, Brother, sister in law and nephew coming round for full Christmas lunch and I’ve even bought my nephew a small present (yet more top trumps!). I can’t wait for a cuddle from my suddenly very tall and growing up fast 7 year old nephew!

I really recommend Christmas in May. No present buying worries or TV urging us to have "the best ever Christmas", just a relaxing day enjoying our family time with some nice food and a glass of wine. Perfect!

We are also having Christmas dinner on Sunday! We never are the Turkey at Christmas when we were in lockdown in london. So it will be with all the trimmings and pigs in blankets. Also got some cheap Christmas banners from amazon to put up!
