Premium dining plan

Hi

Our first trip to DLP is coming up in April but am struggling to know exactly what is included in the premium dining plan so any advice from people that have been and had the premiom dining plan gratefully accepted. I get that we can use our vouchers in any restaurant and that the best use is the more expensive restaurants that we wouldnt consider if we were paying out of pocket (the dining plan was free btw) but there appears to be set menus and a la carte menus for Captain Jacks, Calli grill and Walts does anyone know whether I would be able to order off of the al la carte menu at these restaurants without paying extra or am i limited to the premium set menus? If I dont like the premium set menu can I choose from a lower priced set menu?
Also is anyone able to tell me what menu I would be able to eat from at Remys - would it be the Gusteau (menu states cost is €61.99)

We had premium plan last time and ate in inventions, California grill, Auberge de cendrillon and chez Remy (premium menu). We had soup or pate starter, steak main and a pudding overall it was good but not as good as California grill.

You can use your voucher at face value to eat from the a la carte menu.

Our dd did eat from the lower priced menu in Remy, the server asked twice if they were sure as effectively we 'lost' money doing that (but she got the food she wanted).

Yes you can choose a cheaper menu if that is your preference, or as the PP has mentioned you can use tour voucher at face value to dine a la Carte,
Premium vouchers are worth 60€ per adult and 35€ per child (3-9).
It’s up to you how and where you spend them.
The only restaurants not included in the premium plan are
Inventions brunch
Sparkling experience in Cali Grill (special event).
Everything is available in one form or another.

Just to add, some restaurants have a la carte as the Premium option. Best thing to do is check out the menus online. They have symbols to explain what the choices are for applicable meal plans. X

Thank you for all the replies - I think I have a better idea of how it will work now. Still torn between Calli grill and Walts - I like the look of the premium menu at Calli Grill but prefer the idea of the restaurant themeing at Walts but at least I know that I can upgrade the menu at Walts if i decide to go there.
Would love to do them both but have decided that we will do Captain Jacks, Agrebah, Remys and a couple of character buffets so we only have room for either or

Depending on when you go, Walt’s may not be open. They are reopening 19/2/2020 and closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
They are also only open for lunch on days where the park closes at 6 or 7pm.

I know that why I am so torn - its just that the menu for premium seems much better at Calli Grill but maybe when it reopens the premium menu will change

We are booked for April and arrive on a Sunday for 3 nights so would be able to schedule it in for our first evening. I think I saw one of your posts a little while ago with the reopening date on which is why I started looking at it again - up til then I hadnt really thought about it as it had been closed every time I had looked
