Just found your pre-trip report while posting my own. So close to your trip, bet the excitement is high in your house right now.

You will love the cruise, I'm sure. We haven't sailed with Royal Caribbean (yet) but have done shorter cruises with NCL and both short and long cruises with DCL, and are completely hooked. My husband would choose cruising over the parks now and he was the one who was originally reticent - so there's hope for Nigel yet

Pre-paying tips is a good idea, less to worry about and at least you know everything is covered. Similar with the drinks package - on such a short cruise, it's not as big a dent in the pocket so hopefully you will get your money's worth out of it - or at least know whether it's worth it for future (longer) cruises.

Thank you! I have your trip report on my reading list, I've just been so short of time lately Good to hear you like cruising, most people seem to so here's hoping we will too
