Dibbers usually agree with each other when I ask questions but here you seem to be about equally split. So I've been looking at Disney for September and hey - I can get a similar price.
Cheap week with cousin in Feb and fortnight in Disney in September then! |

September is definitely a great time to go to Disney for sure.
I'll also echo other posters and say for anyone considering a solo trip I'd recommend trying a city break first. It really does help being in a nice bustling city with lots to do as you never get bored, I think it would help prevent any loneliness (although I am perfectly at home by myself lol). For my first solo trip I did a city break in Edinburgh in 2017 and it was great, headed back there in a week or so and am really looking forward to it.

I've travelled a lot solo, city breaks are ok as they are short and busy, but I do sometimes miss someone to have dinner/drinks with.
My fave solo travels is a cruise, excellent solo groups so you can chat to others if you like, but like a different city break everyday, and so much going on in the evening. Safari and wine tasting in South Africa would have been second..

I'd do Disney in May if you are happy going on your own.
If you wanted company could you pay some of your cousins cost?
