I'd do the cheapy with your cousin, a cheap hotel is no real difference to a B&B, then do Disney next year.. " holidays and more time to get your finances sorted

I would do the cheap one, with your cousin & do Florida in may.
You can obviously afford the cheap one, because you are considering it,then your change in finances, allows you to afford Florida as well.you could even cut the cost down,a little bit on Florida,to compensate, for the cheap one.
But I just love holidays & would probably choose all 3 lol.
Go & enjoy,you deserve it!

Ha ha I wish! But I think that's pushing things a bit far. I'm not that rich.

I know from your previous posts you are a bit on the fence about a solo trip to Florida so why not do a week sooner with your cousin and a week in Florida solo to test the waters before booking a big holiday there ? Even with you improving the hotel your budget wouldn't be much different with a shorter Florida stay. May there's always great deals with TUI and Thomas Cook on late offers to Orlando anyway .

(Of course the fact you are posting here to ask makes me think you want to be told the Florida option ! )
I agree with this - if you phrase it so she is doing you a favour coming she shouldn't feel bad. When I broke up with an ex I went with my cousin to Majorca. She couldn't really afford it but I didn't want to go alone so paid for 1/2 of her trip.

If it's an option, always choose Disney!

As a solo traveller I really wouldn’t bother with the Med, Canaries etc. I like the variety of Florida and I feel anonymous and safe because it’s so big and very busy. I’d feel conspicuous in a smaller hotel/resort and with nothing much to do other than browse the local town, sit by the pool and read a book.

I have done lots of city breaks and coach tours on my own and love them.

Go with cousin. You could book it and pay for an "upgrade" as a special treat for you both.
