Cancelled Disney Magic from Dover 13 September 2020
First time cruiser and excited to experience cruising the Disney way. Im from Ireland and I go to Disneyland California every June, 2019 was my 10th visit. Ive also been to Disneyland Paris 3 times and Walt Disney World once, many many years ago. I decided it was time to try a new Disney experience
Even though the cruise is still over a year away, Im watching all the YouTube videos, and reading blogs and forums, gathering as much info as I can. Hopefully I find find some cruise mates here over the next year to share planning tips. Edited at 11:53 AM. |

Careful, you’ll get addicted. I thought we’d hate cruising, now addicted to DCL. We are boarding the Magic on Sunday!

Ohhh, how I miss that beautiful, beautiful ship. We did a Med cruise on the Magic in 2017 for our joint 50th birthday. Amazing experience and loved every minute. We had a few days in DLP, took a train to Barcelona and then had a 7 night cruise.
Here's my trip report: Beyond the Sea And Peter's highlights video.

I’m excited! We have cruised on the Fantasy several times, but have never done the Magic!

Another one here who didn't think cruising was for them but really enjoyed it. We have sailed on the Dream, the Wonder and Celebrity Reflection. About to embark on the Magic on 1st September.
Can't wait. You will become hooked

Welcome to the cruise forum!
Have a read of the sticky thread at the top too, but feel free to ask any questions, it's a friendly place here! We've sailed *ahem* 25 times with DCL so Jason is right when he says it's addictive. I would say though, try not to watch too much. I know it's lovely to see what to expect, but it's also lovely to just let things happen sometimes. Joa

We are saving for a Tokyo trip next year and trying to afford a night at the (onsite) Ambassador hotel. I’m not ashamed to say that half the reason why is because its gorgeous art deco theming reminds me of the Magic!

Look out for me waving! My sister is boarding too so I'm giving her a lift down there (we only live 45 mins away).
