"Spiritual Homecomings of the Gizmo Kind"

For those of you that are bored and restless I have written previous blogs "When will our volcano blow?" and "1 Bag out how many coming back?" and thanks to a variety of fates I will be returning this Summer ... oh and taking some of the previous protagonists back as well.

Firstly I have to thank and remember the unfortunate lady that lost her life in November 2010 and kindly donated me a kidney. I pray for her everyday and for all of those who have lost their lives and donated organs to save others.

Secondly thanks to redundancy I have no mortgage (woohoo) and have a new job and therefore can earn the pennies needed for a transatlantic shopping trip.

and Thirdly perhaps most importantly of all, despite reservations, I claimed against banks and credit cards for the reclaim of PPI and as a consequence I have recovered from the first 3 enough money to pay for this trip in full plus a few extras.

So who is going :-

Me 55 and a Florida freak. I love it!




DW Hazel 41 and can't wait for the trip if only to stop me talking about it.

DD Hannah 15 when we go and improving every day on her issues (see previous trippies)



DD Georgia 14 when we go and maturing nicely.



We will be having a week AI in Marrakech with DS and DD, Tom and Alex and their partners in early June.

So we've booked 30th July 11.15 flight Gatwick to MCO with Virgin and staying in a Villa in Hunters Creek. Tickets for Uni, Seaworld and Disney booked. Discovery Cove booked for 1st saturday as a surprise (I'm the only Dibber in the house so it will remain a surprise).

I can't wait and will advise as we get nearer any new news ... get ready FLA ... I'M COMING HOME!

Update

And so it came to pass that we have 10 weeks and a few hours until our next trip to our spiritual home and on popping into the Virgin Shop today I decided to check on prices for next year and so before we have had our Marrakech trip, before our July visit to the best place on earth... I have booked for next year. The DW is horrified, Kids just laugh at me but I don't care.

I have upgraded the car this year, booked an extra bag coming home and I am fully prepared for the next 12 weeks. I will miss 8 days of the Euro's (how do I manage to do that every time) in Marrakech, and the Olympics will be gone pretty much by the time I get back (don't care if I miss out on the chemically induced snooze fest that comes around every 4 years and I will at least miss the traffic going into London).

I am so excited I cannot contain myself. Dibbers ... watch this space ... the new Title is "Spiritual Homecomings of the Gizmo Kind"... See you soon.

Travel day - Flight, Walmart for essential food groups (drinks, sweets, crisps, donuts, cheesecake and most important of all TWINKIES)
Day 1 - Golden Corral, Seaworld, Shopping Vineland Ave, Seaworld, Applebees
Day 2 - Dunkin Donuts, MK, Nap, MK, Chillis
Day 3 - IHOP, AK, shopping, Nap, MK, Lone Star Steak.
Day 4 - Book in Hard Rock, Universal, Play in HRC pool, Bubba Gump, Cinema
Day 5 - HRC Breakfast, Potter, IOA, Bahama Breeze,
Day 6 - shhhhh it's Discover Cove but they think it's Aquatica, Shopping
Day 7 - Bfast and a day of shopping with the girls. Santa Fe Dinner
Day 8 - Bfast , Hollywood, Nap, Hollywood, Outback
Day 9 - Dunkin Typhoon Lagoon, Olive Garden, Walk about the Malls
Day 10 - Dennys, Busch, A steakhouse somewhere
Day 11 - IOA bfast, IOA and a rst afternoon and evening
Day 12 - Bfast, Blizzard Beach, Seaworld, Brazillian Steakhouse
Day 13 - IHOP, Aquatica, MK, Chilli's
Day 14 - Girls choice day as its the last
Day 15 - DTD, AK and Epcot, Olive garden and Travel home.

Fingers crossed and I may get away with only 1 credit card maxxed out!
