Update 1
Well guys I am pleased to announced we have got the majority of our hotels booked! After a very successful shift at work for the both of us (tips wise!) we got in around 2am and decided instead of going to bed we would book our hotels! Unfortunately we haven't quite got the money together for Disney yet but do plan to book this within the next month! So here's the picks! Holiday Inn Toronto Downtown Centre - 2nd Sept to the 5th Sept Cant go wrong with a Holiday inn right?! Don't no a great deal about Toronto to be totally honest with you but did a little research and this one seems to be in a good location (next to a maple leaf garden?! How Canadian ) and good reviews so fingers crossed for this one! Chesterfield Hotel and Suites South Beach Miami - 5th Sept to the 6th Sept Im a little iffy about this one as it gets mixed reviews but it suited us as it includes free airport transfers and is right on the beach, Its only for 1 night anyway! And lastly... A dibb favourite... Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando 6th Sept to the 12th Sept I am SUPER excited about staying here! I no its just a basic hotel but everyone gives it such great reviews and we have never actually stayed this close to i-drive, last year we stayed on Sand Lake Drive so was a little outside i-drive. Hopefully we will love this as much as everyone else on the Dibb! So thats the hotels booked for now, all just your pretty basic budget hotels but at least its moving us along in the planning!
Still to do... -Disney POR (Tickets&DDP) -Universal/Seaworld Tickets -Car hire (Convertable or not) -MNSSHP tickets -Pre Book CN tower Tickets -ESTA -Travel Insurance -Call AirCanada and book seats and luggage (I read somewhere that for our short haul flight, TOR-MIA, the luggage will not be included in the cost and we will have to pay $25 for it?) -Select United seats -Halloween costumes -Spending money -Book CRT (all others are booked, we can't book CRT until we have our DDP booked!) - IDL i think we need one each?

Hey,
Me and my bf stayed at Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando in 2011 for 14 nights and we had a pleasant stay We had a car, so took this for granted, but I can see why those who dont have a car would love staying there as there are so many amazing restaurants right on your doorstep! We didnt think there was anything 'wow' about the hotel, but to be honest we only really used it as a place to sleep, didnt even go to the pool or eat there! We did find it to be a great base, and would definitely stay there again. |

Hey Chelsey! I totally understand now that you couldn't book before when you kept saying 'trying to convince DBF' pesky careers getting in the way of Disney times!
We also are 'trying new places' whilst going on holiday to Orlando, New York in fact! Trying for Hawaii and the west Coast next time . Your plans are sounding great! 25 Hard Rock Cafes, wow! I thought I was doing well with 3 in a year LOL. Sounds like we might be going to a couple of the parks at the same time, not got a concrete plan like you though but I'm guessing you followed Touring Plans like me I love that you came home from work last night and booked your hotels, fab choices! I know you haven't booked POR yet but you will LOVE it! You will not be disappointed, the food court is FAB! |
