We loved out med cruise on the Epic and would definitely sail on her again.

NCL is our favourite cruise line for anytime dining and we like their larger ships in general. We missed the lanai as Epic doesn't have that so we hung out at Spice H2O instead.

Great food, great crew, great facilities, great entertainment.

There are some moans in online reviews are about odd cabin layouts (shower in room but curtained off, sofa curved) but we didn't find it bothersome.

Thanks. Well researched on the off bathroom layout thing. I’m not loving the look of it but it’s not worth an extra £800 for royal Caribbean imo! We are thinking mini suite so balcony and slightly larger shower. Thanks!

We love NCL and had a great cruise on Epic a couple of years ago. I don't love the bathroom arrangement but it's not a deal breaker for us. We're back on the Breakaway in May and can't wait. We really enjoy the freestyle approach and the entertainment is excellent on NCL.

Our first cruise was on the Epic and it was this ship that made us fall in love with cruising.
Great entertainment, food and crew.
We’ve been on 2 NCL cruises and both have been fab.

We sailed with NCL for the first time last year on the Escape. We had a mini suite and the only difference with a mini suite and the balcony cabin was a much bigger bathroom.
Preferred Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Princess, MSC and Carnival.

Our first cruise was on the Epic. She's a slightly odd and unique ship but I have a huge soft spot for her and we loved our cruise. The food and entertainment were fantastic! Not sure if they have changed the shows since but we loved Priscilla and Burn the Floor. The only bad thing I could say about her is that sea views are limited from the inside, but you'll have a balcony for that, we sailed in an interior. The bathroom thing didn't bother us but it was just the two of us.

NCL would be one of our top choices to cruise with along with Royal

These reviews are good to hear. We are sailing on her in June. It will be my DH and my 3rd cruise - the others being RCI and MSC but we are taking our 3 kids for their first cruise experience. They are all very excited! We have booked 2 balcony cabins that are next door. It is our 25th anniversary and DD 21st this year, so we’re splashing out a bit!

We were not keen on the cabins or they layout of this ship but there is plenty to do for kids and we loved the cirque dinner show, I recommend booking that.

Nice to read good reviews about the Epic. We booked our 1st Med cruise on her, we previously sailed Disney, RCCL & NCL Getaway, all in the Caribbean, NCL was our favorite (well kids are too big for Disney now & too expensive lol).

Love anytime dining, not being tied to times, restaurants etc. We really liked Spice H20 on the Getaway so looking forward to it on Epic. The bathroom set up is a little weird but we'll live with it.
