Thanks everyone x lots of good information and tips to get me started x I have looked again at the NYNY hotel, it has a shake shack and Gallaghers steak house in the hotel, 2 of our favourite NY food! It’s meant to be!

In Vegas we spent the first 4 nights in the Signature Suites which are mid strip but further back, only a 10 min walk away. The rooms there are huge and as it’s not a gaming hotel you get a sense of calm walking in after the madness that is Las Vegas.

The Signature Suites I believe had free parking so we had the car for the entire week we were there as we drove to Death Valley for the day (amazing) as well as visiting both outlets North and South ends of the strip

I did a trip report that can be found in my signature that might help with your planning
We also stayed in the signature suites and it was great being able to walk to the main MGM grand hotel by walkway.

You can walk to a lot of hotels from here but they are further than they look! Lol!

We did hire a car - driving on the strip is busy! We didn't have it for driving in Vegas - more for the hoover dam and driving on to california.

Enjoy booking!
