Where can you obtain/use the DAS

Hi Dibbers,
is the Disability Access Service available at any of the parks, or is it limited to Disney only, as one of our party has a hidden disability so any information is fully appreciated... MTIA

Each of the theme parks has their own system and they operate slightly differently. In each case the idea of the pass is to aid those who are unable to queue for some reason. At disney guest services can issue the DAS and this is done in the form of adding an entry to you magic band or ticket and taking a photo of the person with the disability, plus the others identified in the party. Then at each ride you approach a CM and ask for a return time , this will be the current queue time minus about 15 mins. You can then come back and use the FP Q once that time has passed until the end of the day. You can only hold 1 DAS return time at a time, but can hold FP's as well.

At universal they issue a paper card which again you goto a staff member at a ride and they will write a return time or if the wait time is under 30mins you can enter the express lane straight away.

If you pop over to the Special Needs section of the forum, there are several stickies that will explain it all.

DAS is just the Disney parks, but all other parks offer similar.
