P & O - Iona - anyone booked on this yet

That must be the one my friends are on as they sail early July. They also said Gary Barlow is doing 2 concerts which they are hoping to get tickets for.

We are booked for the 2nd voyage on May 23rd. It’s my husband’s 50th. It’s our first cruise, we are really looking forward to it!

By all accounts they are struggling to fill the ship so far. That might change post launch, but for now its resulting in some good deals.

I've just booked my third MSC cruise of the year (haven't even done one with them yet, so hope I like them), but Iona (and maybe Britannia) put P&O on my to do list.

I think half the problem is that there is a limited itinerary - lots of 7 nighters to the Fjords - which also include lots of "scenic cruising".
At the moment she is too big for most of the ports.

We got a cracking deal for the end of October but the itinerary wouldn't be my first choice - we are going with the inlaws and had to offset losing a Cunard deposit

I am really looking forward to going on her - but then I look forward to all my holidays .

Indeed, I’m doing a family cruise with my sister her husband and their 5 kids this Summer. And I put Iona on the table as an option as it seemed a lot less faff having to get the family to Southampton. The itinerary didn’t hook them though, and now we’re doing a Northern Europe on Meraviglia from Copenhagen.

Had booked the 31/10 cruise before Gary Barlow was announced as the new entertainment ambassador. They have not yet announced when tickets will be available to book but will be quite limited. Husband is not interested in watching this at all, so Mum is now coming on cruise with us and she will go with me.
