Do you have one ? What do you make in it? Apart from the yummy chips it makes 😃

Very good question. I bought one in a blaze of excitement.

Made chips. DH didn't rate them. Made mini roasties out of halved baby new potatoes. DH didn't rate them.

Did chicken nuggets and DD didn't rate them.

So. It's back in the garage on the naughty shelf. Alongside my stepper, aeroball and yoga mat.

If you are ok with fiesty language two chubby cubs have a lot of things they make in theirs. Wet and dry foods too.

Will have to use it one day, ram the food in the oven just before serving and DH sees it and see if he "rates" it 😂

Initially I did rate the chips. Then I read that you literally had to “squeeze” the moisture out of them. Bit of a faff but I’m doing SlimmingWorld and want chips so needs must. Time consuming but makes a big difference

I love ours and have made loads in them. Chips, roasted, chicken, stir fry the list is endless. In morning I stick a few pieces of bacon in without the paddle and toast muffins for a quick and hot brekkie too.

I wondered about this as I’ve just watched a you tube video and the woman was laying them on a clean tea towel and dabbing all the moisture out and as of that wasn’t enough she then got the kitchen roll laid out and did the same just incase any moisture left. I guess that’s the difference ot makes then.

I’ve had my actifry a few years now. First one I got I hated. Used to cut the potatoes by hand

We bought a little chip cutter thing. It’s awesome.

I peel my spuds. But them in the chipper and press down and they pop out. Rinse them. Then (and here is where I am really lazy) I put them straight in the actifry for 3 mins. No oil. They dry. So then I add the oil. About 25 mins later. Chips. Lovely.

Don’t do much else. Hubby likes to put the cooked chicken legs in there to crisp the skin.
