Universal Orlando extends closures

Just been reading that universal have announced there orlando parks will stay closed til at least the 19th April

“This means we are extending the closure of Universal Orlando Resort through April 19. This includes our theme parks and Universal CityWalk. The Universal Orlando Resort hotels have also temporarily suspended operations.

We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed. You can continue to check here for updates.”

I expect the other parks to follow suit

I bet there looking at there bank balances and seeing the millions there losing by not been open instead of the amount of people dying in America.
The uk leisure industry have been told they may have not open this year or with limited guests. So can see the likes of Drayton Manor and Oakwood maybe going out of business.

I have more respect for them saying, you know what, we're not comfortable yet that it is safe to re-open beginning of April, so be cautious and adding a couple of extra weeks. To me that says, we value your safety and are putting that above the bottom line.

You don't know that as being a fact.

Where has this come from, I haven’t been told anything officially from government, our local tourism group, Lep, or any official source?

According to @horrornightsorlfan over on instagram universal orlando are currently continuing building mazes for this years HHN. You cant make anything out from the images and its possibly just hearsay.

Take it with a pinch of salt, but hopefully if true then universal 2020 plans are moving forward for when it eventually opens.

Think positive. It may give them time to sort out the reliability issues with Hagrids Rollercoaster.
