Mobile Revolut v fairFX

Hi
I am looking at getting a new currency card but really don't know which one is the best. I've got it down to either revolut or fairFX, revolut haveca slightly better exchange rate (1.35 today as opposed to 1.33 on fairFX).

Which do you recommend?

Many thanks

Hey i have both cards and they are both really good. Had fair fx for about five years and the revoult i only got for last years trip. I have been topping up more with the revoult as the rate is always better. Never had any problems with either.

We have not used fairFX but I know it's very popular on here but we used Revolut last year & thought it was really good & also found the instant notifications on the app very helpful & reassuring.

Hi. We used both this summer and twice had problems with Revolut being declined (different days and places) no problem with fairfx. My advice is always have a back up card or cash

Used FairFx for our recent trip, ordered the card approx 10 days before going and it worked fine everywhere we went, except Under Armour at the Premium Outlet (I-Drive). We went back a few days later and the same till was having issues with someone elses card - think it was just that till and not an issue with the card as I paid fine at another till.

I have Caxton fair fx and revolut
I never use revolut to
Pay with the card as it can be funny or ghost transactions so I just use it to pull money out of the machine every few days works for me

We used Revolut last year and had no problems at all. We used it in the outlets, the Mall, Universal, WDW, restaurants, etc and all went through fine. I really like the app to keep track of spends.

Isn't there a 1.4% charge for every transaction with FairFX?
