Someone said earlier that the Florida flights drop after their sale. So in a week or two. Coincides with release of Virgin flights. We’ll see! 😎

I’ve taken the plunge and booked with Norwegian.

LGW - MIA 1st August 2020 (Direct)
MIA - LGW 19th August 2020 (Direct)

2a, 16yr, 11yr & 3yr

£2907 includes luggage. No seats booked yet.

Works out at £581pp which I am happy with for direct flights.

We check in at Disney on 4th and depending on flights we were hoping for a few nights in Miami/Gulf coast, so this fits the bill perfectly.

Norwegian have some good prices at the mo (under £200 for return leg).

I feel quite happy with the price. Would you agree...?

Just seen flights with Norwegian for just over £2000 for 2a 2c but the thread about them going bust has put me off! 😩

Edited to add: That was low fare. By the time you’ve added on a hold bag, food and seat reservations. It’s probably not going to be a great deal.

Edited at 03:40 AM.

If you read the ts and Cs. Orlando and tampa aren't included for economy and PE.

The prices actually went up a few days before the sale started. They haven't dropped.

I’m with you on that one. No way would I book with Norwegian at the moment. They are in great financial trouble.

We've also considered and then steered clear of Norwegian for this reason.

Wow, this is a great price, I'd be very happy with that. My dates are 12-24th August 2020.

Pricing up the same route for 5 of us comes out at £5,200 including premium on the outbound flight (was cheaper than economy), economy with bags on the return.

It's just too high, I;m going to wait and keep watching!

I have decided that even though Thomas Cook and Norwegian are coming up as the cheapest for next summer I would not book with them and take a risk.

Some people will say that about all the other airline, that you never know what will happen but seeing as both have been in the news several times over the last year with financial woes it's not for me!

I've got 24 hours to cancel and after seeing the replies, seriously considering this!

I wasn't even aware of their financial trouble and can't believe i wasn't!

Very frustrating.

I have received a quote from Charter Travel:

£3496.00 for 3 adults 1 child. Including full size 4 door car and full insurance. Allocated seats. 11 August - 26 August Manchester to Orlando with Virgin

I don't think its a bad price for direct flights with virgin but going to hang fire as it still more than I would hope to pay. Also considering indirect for the first time
