Thomas Cook Airtanker IFE

Hi All

Just wondering if anyone can advise how the IFE works on the planes where you have to stream to your own devices? Do we need to take leads or is it wifi and do they supply headphones? Also do we actually need to download the thomas cook entertainment app?

You connect to a WiFi access point on the airplane. The network is LAN only so you can only access the streaming service (not the internet).

You can usually buy headphones onboard but it'd be cheaper to take your own.

I think I read that you get 4 films and a few series for free. If you want access to the more movies you need to pay a premium (�7?).

It's worth noting that if you have the iPlayer app or if you're a Netflix subscriber, you can download content on them to watch on the plane. We'll be doing that the night before we fly as there's far more content on there that will keep the kids entertained.

It's also worth buying a couple of large usb batteries to charge your tablets. I got the Anker 20,000mah which cost about �25 on Amazon. That should be enough to charge our 4 devices fully.
