GEORGE
|
I've watched the first week and I have to say I haven't really thought about the old judges. The only time I did was when the judges had to taste one plate of food at the end of the challenge. It was always George who divided up the plate and served the other judges.

Jock usually does the dividing up when it is a single plate now.
I have watched a few social distancing episodes now. They still start each challenge off with a race to the pantry. The door is always closed, so one of them has to slide it open whilst the rest are all bunched up behind and then they charge in together. I think they should forget about the charging to the pantry, send a few in at a time and then start the clock when they all back at their cooking station. |

I have to say I have been really enjoying this series... I thought that I would miss the old judges but it’s been fine. I really like Melissa - she eats with gusto!
Social distancing is really ‘lip service’ at the moment but I expect it may get more stringent... The most interest thing this season was the ‘sudden departure’ of a contestant following an arrest! I love the new immunity system - I hope that stays...I hated the old cook against a pro chef. All in all, it’s a thumbs up from me. |

As the contestants live together I wouldn’t have thought social distancing was a big issue.

Oh my goodness. I have just watched the episode when it was advertised as the most heart breaking episode ever and somebody was eliminated. Per the adverts. I was pretty synical and thought they over egged the situation.
But I have watched the episode now and I have been in streams of tears and I am not a softy dibber. But it was totally hearthbreaking and I don’t think any tV show has reduced me to tears in that way. Edited at 05:35 PM. |
