Sleeping alone in a haunted house

If you were offered £10,000 to spend 24 hours alone in a house that's in the country and several miles from the nearest occupied house would you do it.

To clarify, the owners can't sell the house because a horrific murder too place inside it in 1948 and strange things have been known to happen to anyone whose stayed in it. You must stay alone in the house and can't use a phone or any mobile/internet devices as there is no wifi or mobile signal.

Would you stay in it for £10,000?

This is the house:

Sorry Sue, £10,000 cash is the offer and there is no more on the table.

I didn't find it anywhere, it's why my threads are such high quality because I spend my days planning them

Not me, my dh parents had a big farm in wales on a hill and we stayed there on our own one night. The doorbell kept ringing on its own, all the electricity went and the lights went out. When the lights went out and dh was trying to fix it the front door blew open because there was a storm! There was noises outside but I think it was horses, we went home the next day. We were terrified 😱

No. I find sleeping alone in my own a bit creepy as I have never lived alone and it’s rare for my husband to be away without me tagging along.

A few years ago we stayed in a bed and breakfast in South Carolina. The owner was weird and the house was creepy (not too unlike your picture but smaller). We started winding each other up about it all and ended up totally freaked out - we put a chair under the door knob to stop it being opened at night without us hearing it LOL. We convinced his mother (who used to run the B&B with him but had died) was in the attic. The dead bodies of guests were in the basement.

Lucky for us we escaped two days later!
