On boxing day we have turkey, leek and ham pie ... a jus rol puff pastry sheet folded over with leftover meat and leeks cooked in butter with a little gravy. Served with bubble and squeak made from leftover mash fried with chopped leftover veg - scrumptious , to me it is better than christmas dinner, but you can't have it without first having had a Christmas dinner...

Any left over turkey will be portioned and frozen this year as will the ham and beef rib if they are cooked if not it will be what we didn’t cook or the whole salmon I’ve got in the freezer or the venison done in red wine shallots and juniper in the slow cooker with creamy garlic mash and mashed mixed root veg ie what I’ve got to use up

We don’t cook on Boxing Day! So it’s leftovers - usually turkey, ham, cheese, pickles, roast potatoes, gravy, maybe pigs in blankets if dd didn’t manage to pinch them all when we weren’t looking!

Leftovers (so this year turkey and beef), more pigs in blankets 😊, and at some point a curry for those that like it.
